How does this work?In the following chapter, the basic process will be explained. The images at the left bottom help visualize the process.

At first, form separation with the use of 3D data is determined and the according electrodes are created. (1)

Electrodes are the core of the process. They are built with the help of layer construction technology, using modified standard powder. The exposure technology is specially adapted. Finally, the created electrodes are given a follow-up treatment which can be automated. (2)

Electrodes which have been accordingly produced can then be eroded into metal of any hardness. Hereby, a specially developed dielectric on a modified plant is used. (3)

After that, the produced tool cavities are fit into a standard mould unit. (4) Parts can then be produced with this tool, for example in a casting facility (5).

Production of electrodes, as well as processing of the workpieces can only be carried out by our company.
